User Interface Team

The BeOS API divides up the functionality for creating apps and their associated windows and controls into several kits: Application Kit (BApplication, BMessage, BLooper), Interface Kit (BWindow, BView, BBitmap, BFont), Support Kit (BFlattenable, BArchivable), etc.

This team works on all these and any other classes and support functions needed for creating app objects, managing their windows and loopers, displaying graphical objects, sending and archiving messages. Definitely one of the largest and most fundamental areas in Haiku development.
