Ticket #9431 (Stack & Tile overrides shortcuts used by applications) created

Tue, 2013-02-05 00:35

Stack and Tile currently uses Option+left and Option+right arrows to switch to the left and right tabs in a tab group and Option+Up and Option+Down to switch between next and previous window groups. These shortcuts are already being used by applications so may not be used by S&T.

The application that I noticed this on was Eddie, a text editor for BeOS which uses option+left to move back a word and option+right to move forward a word. When I include an Eddie window in a tab group these shortcuts are overridden.

Alternatives might include Ctrl+Alt+[left,right,up,down]-arrows or perhaps option+tab for next tab, option+shift+tab for previous tab, option+pgup for previous window group, option+pgdn for next window group provided that those shortcuts are not also used by applications.

Ticket #9430 (media preference looks strange for HDA) created

Mon, 2013-02-04 18:09
  1. In the Output-Tab only "Fro" is written. Attachment: media_hda.png
  2. Input-Tab is completely empty. Attachment: Media1.png
  3. In the General-Tab is 96kHz as frequency for Input and Output. Attachment: Media2.png

Is this OK? So High?
I have tried to change to 48kHz or 44.1kHz, but this results in strange noise with max volume (perhaps can destroy speakers) and audio stopped working after the change.

This is a gcc4 build from hrev45227.

Ticket #9429 (print_addon_server: hangs and uses 100% CPU, if printing to pdf) created

Mon, 2013-02-04 18:00

If you e.g. open a crash report in styleedit which is big enough to need more than one side (>=2). Then you choose to print it into PDF. Then you will see a progress dialog which going to 100% and then this dialog changes to the look which you can see in the attached PNG and uses 100% CPU and you have to hard reset the computer. (You can not click on Tracker or Deskbar anymore)
This is a gcc4 build from hrev45227.

Ticket #9427 (FirstBootPrompt appears after installation when you first start.) created

Sun, 2013-02-03 08:49

FirstBootPrompt appears after installation when you first start. This happening in the nightly builds. Just click on the Boot to Desktop. After that this no longer occurs.

I run Haiku from the CD. Because I do not have installed BootManager.
