[haiku-development] Missing symbols (Michael Mounteney)

This must be a basic question. I'm sure I remember asking similar a while ago but although I've archived this list back to 2009, can't find it. Starting with an empty build directory, apart from a symlink to downloads directory shared by all builds: $ ../source/configure --build-cross-tools x86 ../buildtools --use-gcc-pipe -j2 PATH=$PATH:../buildtools/jam/bin.linuxx86 jam -q @nightly-pimple-Jupiter ...

I looked at Minecraft awhile back... the main thing missing is ljwgl and maybe a few other libraries... probably more now since its gotten a bit more bloated than it used to be but all in all it is mainly libraries at this point. Handbrake – arguably the best open source video transcoder Mostly a frontend to FFmpeg, I think, and it requires GTK so we can't port it. (a GTK port might be a good topic for a GSOC project though :D) Handbrake was originally created on beos. Taking a quick look at the source code file structure it appears to use cocoa for osx, gtk for linux/unix and C sharp for windows. I think it would be worth it to see what it would take to get the command line version compiled and ...

Personally I'd like to see this revisited for R2 in a future GSOC Does stippi still intend on working with the deskbar code? I've been dealing with a fire in my business for the last year, so I haven't had time to do much of any rewriting. Seems to be the only thing I have a lot of interest in working with, just no time. ...
