Alpha4 & fujitsu lifebook s7010

Forum thread started by lazy on Mon, 2012-11-12 21:48

I've installed alpha4 to real hardware and gets some strange things

1. LAN, Broadcome netXreme ore something like this. After first book and configuring static ip, router and so on it is working good. After reboot every try to ping something in LAN brings back "No route to host" error. I don't know, how to explain this.

2. WLAN. setup-wifi-firmware runs and causing kernel debugging screen., I don't get, what portions of text will be useful for developers, so didn't write down any of.

Any suggestions for understanding? Notebook is completely functional.

Wifi part start working after trying to asign manual ip address to /dev/net/iprowifi2200 with ipconfig and rebooting. I don't know, why, but now it's working.

LAN still returning "No route to host".

And, another issue. After boot keyboard acts like [Fn] key is always pressed, this means f.e. inputing numbers in letters I O P. Can it be changed in some way?

You should create a ticket on http://dev.haiku-os.org listing your problems and hopefully a developer will be able to help you.
