keep or delete?
What do you think? Should we move all posts to the general discussions forum or is this really needed? It seems that most of the posts here would easily fit into the "General" category because they are Haiku-related.
I realized that my formulation wasn't very clear. Sorry. :(
We had too many forums. Even for a community site this was too much. These forums should be prepared for the community site. Now, we have forums for "General Haiku Discussions" and "Off Topic". But the "Off Topic" forum doesn't really contain extremely off-topic posts and it's not really used by many people. I have the impression that it's useless and we should move all "Off Topic" posts to the "General Haiku Discussion" and delete the "Off Topic" forum. But I would like to know what the other forum members think before doing this. Maybe you need it?
My thought process is that if traffic picks up it might be needed. Kind of a plan for the future thought. If you assess how it is being used now, that's a different story. Maybe it can be dropped now and added later if the need comes up. Granted, I'd like to hear other people's comments first.

Yes, let's keep the Off-topic for now. If anything, I find that most of the spammers hit here first (thinking they can get away with an off-topic post) - and that makes it easy to remove the rubbish later.
If Off-topic becomes useless later we can eliminate.

What's the goal? Are the forums being formatted to comply with the new site? If so, I would say yes.
If this was for a community site I would say keep them seperate.
