PPC Port

I'd like to volunteer to work on a PPC port of Haiku.
My programming skills are a little rusty (I took 2 years of C++ 5 years ago). But, I'd be willing to give it a shot. I may not be able to write anything advanced, but I've got time and patience to help build PPC binaries.
I use a 12" Powerbook G4 that I can't bring myself to replace...
I used BeOS R5 on a desktop before I switched back to Mac. I loved it, but I jumped ship when the company folded.
I know the new Macs run Intel Hardware but you might want to look into the Macbook Support bounty posted on Haikuware.com. If you are able to get that working it could grab you a few bucks for your efforts.

Glad to hear you're motivated to work on the PPC port :)
Unfortunately the forums are not a good place to discuss development-related topics currently - the best place you can go is the Haiku Development mailing list.
You can find it on this page labeled "Main Development List": http://haiku-os.org/community/ml
I suggest you sign up for that list, and reintroduce yourself there. Most of the active developers use that list for their discussions.
Good luck!
