Traditional Chinese Input in Haiku OS (Alpha 3)

Forum thread started by Demian on Mon, 2012-01-23 17:26

I was wondering if there is a way to input traditional Chinese characters in Haiku? I know there already exists a method for Japanese. At the same time I doubt about the existence of a programme for Chinese (traditional) input?

I am a Linux (Fedora) user and currently use IBus 1.4.0 for writing Chinese (traditional) using Bopomofo.

I am not a programmer or an expert on computers, therefore I would appreciate if you could keep your answers as simple as possible but no simpler.

Thank you all for reading and caring to respond! :)
我謝謝你們!(^_^)

I once used Fireinput in firefox, or its variants when they supported it. (http://www.fireinput.com/contribute.html). And you can also know about the status by visiting:

Will Haiku in a virtual environment also help?
