Brief bio:
I am studying in CS department of University of Science and Technology of China, focusing on embedded operating systems. I will hopefully complete my master's degree in July 2009.
Projects related to Haiku:
During the Google Summer of Code 2007, I was lucky to work on porting FreeBSD's firewire stack to Haiku. I successfully completed the project, although at some reduced scope. Other programming with haiku included adding signal tracing to strace.
Projects related to RTEMS:
Last year from January to June, I worked for one of my lab's projects. My major work was porting a Firewire stack(Linux's or FreeBSD's) to RTEMS. It was successfully completed.
Projects related to Linux:
I have three years experience in Linux kernel development. My first major work was writing a driver for a digital audio and multimedia sound codec chip(AK4642) for frv-linux2.4 for a PMP company and maintaining its OSS driver such as I2S etc. Other involvement with the Linux kernel included a touch screen chip(ADS7846) driver and a OV9650 CameraChip driver for frv-linux2.4.
My hobby in my spare time is reading the kernel source of OS such as Linux, Minix, FreeBSD and so on
