New Website Goes Live
We finally deployed the new website. Waldemar fixed at the last minute a bug that we discovered in one of Drupal's module, and we then asked Takidau to change the DNS settings. It was a long road. How long did it take? A bit more than 6 months? Much longer than I would have expected, I have to admit. But I think it is a good start. As some have already pointed out on the Haiku mailing list, there are still a few areas that need to be tweaked.
The website was the first project for the marcom team, and in retrospect this exercise has been challenging and educational at the same time. The dynamics of an open source project are unique, and it did requiring some adapting to it. But I think I have reached a relatively good understanding of the project and its needs (you never know enough, though), and have also developed trust relationships with the devs; they are a great source of insight to what Haiku needs, and I think we now make a good synergistic team.

Reporting broken links
Hi,
(Not sure this is the right place to report this)
On the page http://haiku-os.org/development I tried to view the document under Latest Dev Docs: Developing IME Aware Applications when I got the message:
"Access denied
You are not authorized to access this page.
If you think that you are getting this message in error,
please contact the webmaster using our contact form."
Clicking contact form brings me to
http://haiku-os.org/documents/dev/contact
which in turn turns me down:
"Page not found
The file you are requesting cannot be found.
Due to the recent redesign of the Haiku website, some pages have been relocated.
You can try the Search page to find the information that you are looking for."
And once more the link to the search page is not "http://haiku-os.org/documents/dev/search" any more..
Arnold

Problem with list criteria (fixed)
On the page http://haiku-os.org/development I tried to view the document under Latest Dev Docs: Developing IME Aware Applications when I got the message:

There was a problem with the criteria used to create the Latest Documents listing. It is fixed now. Thanks again for your input!
Broken link
This is the first home page of the OpenBeOS. IMHO it should be redirected to haiku-os.org.
http://open-beos.sourceforge.net/
Old domain redirect
Hi Robert,
We are looking into getting this straightened out.
Thanks for the input!
100% Width
Just want to report that the site doesn't stay 100% wide when increasing the resolution. I use 1680x1050, and theres some ~180px whitespace to the right. When I'm using 1400x1050, it's correct.
