Haiku mentionned at the European Parliament

Blog post by mmu_man on Fri, 2013-07-12 06:40

Before writing a full RMLL 2013 report on the way home, I just wanted to say that I mentionned Haiku in a question about hardware specifications at the European Parliament on tuesday during a JURI commission workshop :

(it's at the end, 2nd question after the 2nd panel)

We're getting famous ;-)

Amen to that! Sounds like a superb idea. According to the following link, it appears (if I managed a correct reading of the article) that Minix3 got a three million dollar shot in the arm, or at least a substantial boost, deriving from a EU research grant, made in 2009:

Wonder if there are any strings associated with such grants? Perhaps recipients have to be universities?

To help others, François starts his question at around the 17:57 mark.

Well done François :)

Edit: and the answer to François' question starts close to 18:12.
