Any chance to get R5 work with nForce2?

Whenever I try to boot R5 on my nForce2-Ultra-based Epox mainboard, it freezes.

Is there any chance to get it work? I fear there is no...

PS: What exactly is the reason for the crash? Does anybody know?

*UPDATE*

Disabled "IDE Prefetch" in BIOS. R5 and Zeta do not boot, but XBEOX live cd does... without usb mouse and keyboard support :(

Are you running more than 512MB RAM?
Are you using the Athlon XP patch?

I have both: more than 512 mb (1 gb dual-channel) and I also do have an athlon xp. Does the xp patch on bebits solve both issues?

No, you'll need the RAM patch. If you're booting already, you have the A-XP patch.

With a GB of RAM, you either don't boot or you get corrupted and/or full addon space, meaning drivers can't load. E.g. the keyboard and mouse drivrs...

Yes, you do. Not a worry as BeOS never really needs more than 256, although it'll use all it can get to cache stuff to speed the system up

Its usable on 64 even. I've had to use it on 64...
