Is it possible to use BFS as the root FS for a linux install ? If so, are there any guides out there? thanks

BFS on Linux ?

No. It is not possible. Linux cannot write to BFS.

Would be cool, though. Oh well...

It'd actually be kind of useless - without the metadata, which no Linux apps could use anyway, it'd be just as good to use Reiser4.

Mmmm, reiser4.

Speaking of reiser4, what would it take to get reiser4 support in BeOS?
(I want to make my linux partitions reiser4 again and be able to access my data in BeOS)

Is it possible to do database like searches with reiserfs4?
