creating fonts for Haiku?

How can i create fonts for haiku? Is there atool or a tutorial how to do that?

We use standard True Type fonts. Tools used to create fonts for other systems should work fine. I don't know of tools to write fons in Haiku/BeOS, however, so you would have to work under another OS and then boot Haiku to test your font.

There is Fontforge at HaikuPorts, but no GUI, only scripting is available (useful for instance to convert fonts).
