Hi
Is there any software for GIS (geographic information systems) on Haiku? I always like having options.

I'm a bit naive on the topic - are there any open-source options out there to fill this niche? If so, there's a good possibility that they can be ported to Haiku.

Yes there are open source apps, but AFAIK there are none for BeOS. I'm working with GIS/GIT myself although in Java.

Some of the apps here are open source:

Autodesk MapGuide:

OK, thanks, I will try to follow this subject in the future. Currently, I use Windows and a commercial GIS app, but I always keep an eye on QGIS.
