How to make shell scripts execute automatically

Could someone please tell me how to do this? Mine keep opening with styleedit.

hello,

this is no problem, only select the app with the mouse and do a right click on it, select "get info" and then expand "permission". Mark all execute checkboxes and your script will run by doubleclicking.

make sure the file extension is .sh when you save the file, then right click on the file and look at "file info" and you can mark it as "executable" by clicking the little boxes :)
post the script if it dosnt work so people can check it out.
