introduction, new haiku user

Hey guys, I'm Taylor, I'm new to the haiku/Beos system. I first heard about beos awhile back, and now i'm using haiku. I'm quite surprized as it runs blazing fast on my 3.4ghz Pentium 4 HT computer with 4gb of ram. I can see haiku being a replacement for windows.

Haiku is definitely very promising. It may be the future of desktop computing.
Only, it's years behind the schedule. (Ok, you may point out that there was never a fixed release schedule, but still... it's getting very late). But from what I hear, we are almost there.
