Mounting BFS Volume in Mac OS X

Is there a way to mount a BFS volume on a Mac running, say, OS X Lion? I have various USB sticks formatted in the BeOS file system (BFS) and have not been able to mount them. I currently use FAT32 formatted USB sticks for doing this task, but I'd like to use BFS.

FUSE is available for OS X, and FUSE supports BFS.

Hopefully someone else will be able to help you with more information! :)
