Yes, outdated, hopefully Alpha2 release in next couple of months. Alpha2 should fix a few of the things mentioned in the review and give better user experience.

Should we contact people who had reviewed Haiku when release two comes out, or just wait on word of mouth?

I don't think there would be a problem contacting them to let them know when Alpha 2 is released.
