I caution the use of laptops/notebooks... the SB client runs at full 100% cpu, and it will generate a lot of heat that notebooks tend to not handle well.
If you are confident that the notebook can cool itself sufficiently, or you can step down the processor power (to reduce heat, and subsequently performance) - then go for it.
I should be able to throttle the processor; and if the laptop goes well thats why I'm getting the extended warenty, and I'll also be doing backups on my 200gb external HD. So I'm covered pretty good on a laptop failure. Once I get it that is.
