Question: How to virtualize my MAC address?

Hello,
I have so many questions I hardly know which to ask first!
I'll start here.
I need to be able to virtualize my MAC address to connect to the internet.
This worked in Gnu/Linux via the command:
ifconfig [interface] hw ether [MAC address]
What is the equivalent in Haiku? The above did not work in Haiku and "hw" is not even in the ifconfig help.

I don't think that Haiku supports changing mac addresses at the moment.
