Wow, Serpentor is really bringing some power... i have a bad feeling I'll have a run for my money on Last Day's Rate here real quick :P
Well here's another guy who will get smoked sooner or later as well... Serpentor do crunch really fast and looking at his records, he has indeed produced more in total compared to me. He's just late jumping on the Haiku bandwagon.
Very nice to have him onboard though, now I feel I need to crunch some more.
Now, let's see how quickly I can get to be the #1 cruncher for TeamHaiku!
I got some new boxes coming up this year hehehe.. or I hope I do. However, I get the feeling that will only make it more difficult for you to break my TeamHaiku crunches.... but I'm certain you'll get there.
But BeWare.... Minbari is mean when his CPUs are working (which are 2 seldom I'm afraid)
That chunk of 70 tests is definitely making a killing on our overall production, but it's not contributing to our last day's rate because the test progress is being averaged over the time since they were acquired :(
Maybe smaller chunks of tests would work out better in the next batch?
In fact, you could even drop the remaining 40 using the "preferences->pending tests" and get some fresh k/n pairs...
umccullough, are you talking to me? If so, you need to go through and explain what you mean. For the most part, I don't have much control on how many units I push back to the server and such because I am sneaker-netting most of my units. Please explain what ya mean a little better. Thanks!

I didn't realize you were sneakernetting :( - i guess that's cause for grabbing a huge chunk of tests all at once and you can happily ignore me if you want.
The point I was making, however, is that your production is HUGE, but the numbers you are posting are affecting the total production average since the 70-test chunk was "checked out" from the server. Therefore, each time you complete a test, the total work calculated for that test completion is averaged since the time that the test was originally retrieved from the server.
Therefore, you are making excellent production, but not really contributing to the "Last Day's Rate".
It's not a big deal really - just looks funny - and doesn't keep our last day's rate up where it deserves to be based on the #'s your producing :).
Please don't think that I'm complaining - I'm just pointing out what's going on.
Ah!!! I do understand what you are saying. OK, the first time I grabbed some work units, I wasn't sure how many I would need so I grabbed a bunch and used them over the course of a month. From now on, I can grab a few at a time and as I need them I will grab more. This should help keep our daily rate up. We shall see!

Thank you very much for the warm welcome.

I'm gonna have to find some extra power somewhere :(

Yep - that's what I was trying to say :)
