Touchpad on Panasonic CF-52 does not work
Greetings:
I have just installed Haiku on a boot USB.
The boot sequence seems to completely successfully.....with the exception that the white arrow cursor is "stuck" in the middle of the screen. I cannot control it with the touchpad and have no external mouse to even try using.
Is this a known problem? Is there some other driver that needs to be installed?
Thank you.

No extra driver required. You have hit a bug. Below are all the tickets related to touchpad I found with quick search:

On my laptop, the touchpad works but not the keyboard. I use USB keyboard and that works on my laptop until keyboard bug gets fixed.
Hardware bugs are not that easy to fix compared to software related ones.

try one of the newer nightly images. My cf-29 has similar hardware and runs fine.
