Veritas Cluster Server

well....yes i do use Solaris to earn my living and seeing that this is the OffTopic forum i just thought i'd let you know that i completed the Veritas Cluster Server (Unix...Solaris) course here in Australia today and have to say that it is a joy to use. Easy. Both with the command-line (my world) and the GUI.

As i work for a large bank down here, i will be using my newly gained knowledge straight away as we have a 3 node cluster which needs some TLC.
Previously i had to refer to some rough notes i scribbled down one day while a colleague gave me a brief overview.

I thoroughly recommend going on courses if you have the opportunity.
Next on the list is my Red Hat Enterprise Linux course followed closely by my Sun Solaris Network Administration course which will hopefully mean i am Sun certified and RH certified.

Sweeeeeet!

Congratulations, Peter! So, how do you find the time to study, given the demands of your job? Do you work full-time or part-time?

i work full time, but we get time off to do things like this.

I have a Red Hat enterpise Linux course coming up in July, so it's a good place to work ;-)
