Where to find example package file recipes?

Hi,
Now that Haiku's package manager is merged into the main branch, I was wondering where I could find example package recipes. I have read over the entries at the Haiku developer wiki, and at the haiku-porter wiki, but I still have questions about the file layout. It would be helpful to play around with an existing package in the repos, but when I tried downloading an src package (nano I think), nothing seemed to happen. Where can I download the repo files manually? I also tried Google-ing "Haku Package recipe examples", but to no avail.
