That's a great, new, original and unique idea. How could happen we didn't get this simple, but genial idea? Really, very very very useful.
But perhaps, just marginal more useful, is to also implement it.
p.s.: if you would read, just the basic haiku news on the front page, you would know that a packagemanager is already in the works, and is going to continue soon.

I've always thought that something like Android market would be great if it could act as a front end to the package manager.
