Haiku networking kit bounty

Forum thread started by kvdman on Sat, 2006-05-20 22:48

Hi!

Could someone please help me word out the code bounty over at www.haikubounties.org for the networking kit? Please email suggestions.

I need it to be very specific, what Haiku would expect from the developer. i.e compatibility with bone, netserver, any drivers, sockets, gui interface, interoperability, etc..

A big ***thank you!*** for fixing the bug that I posted!

Forum thread started by latte on Sun, 2006-05-14 06:51

Hi all -

Just wanted to give a big **thank you** to the devs for their **lightning-fast** fix of a bug that I posted (to do with the display of time in Haiku - bug 583).

There were problems in that the times in the "set time/timezone" widget (and the time on the menu) weren't "synchronising" properly.

I took a gamble and just copied over the mounted image to an almost vanilla R5 install....Rebooted and yes! Sound via the new media player from a bog-standard on-board intel sound chip. I am WAY! impressed guys. I just wanted to say FANTASTIC JOB! Bring it on!

Musepack (MPC) audio offers lots of advantages over MP3, and it's fairly popular. There's also a Musepack library under the BSD license
