I'm working on a new backend for the Haiku site. Without giving away too many details, I am looking for someone who can recreate the current layout (with a few mofications) in xhtml/css. I would like to have the new site conform to xhtml 1.0 strict.
Videolan can now play WMV9: http://nanocrew.net/?p=129, but more interesting is that the documents for decoding VC-1 (which is under a fee) is free for a trial period which should make it possible for making a media-decoder for Haiku.
Does anyone have experience loading Haiku, in qemu on Mac OS X ?
Ive tried a variety of options in qemu, and various safe mode options in the haiku boot loader, with various video modes, but at best Haiku seems to hanging at the boot screen.
I have been a huge BeOS fan since 4.5, and I am getting very anxious for Haiku. It seems like the team is doing everything right, at least by anyhow. I have been using Linux for a bit now but it still doesn't have the "magic" that Be had.
Hello, I saw this OS a long time ago, but I had never used this before. I tryied to use the Beos PE but I have some problems with sound and video and mouse. And I read about this Haiku, where I can find the ISO to download. I have search in main web site but I didn't find nothing there.
Strangely, I didn't read (or realize what I was reading) until now:

Why are we raising funds right now? Simply this - it is time for Haiku to hire our first developer full time. One of our superstar developers is looking for full time employment and we would love to help him with that!
