Using Haiku IDE driver on R5?

The Haiku IDE driver appears to be an updated version of the "IDE replacement driver" that can be found on BeBits. Would it be possible to use the Haiku IDE driver on an R5 system? If so, how? I tried

It was a pleasure meeting a lot of you at Waltercon.

I went because it was a good excuse for a Vegas road trip and I wanted to see what the current status of Haiku actually is. For the most part it was encouraging news. The kernel boots and we ran app server till the White Screen of Death reared its ugly head. The JavaVM looked great. 12+ more months until 1.0 and the fact that no kit is currently "done" was a large disappointment.

Wasn't sure where to post this but....

On my system, the Haiku nVidia driver crashes after a minute or so of use. Also, if I try to change the resolution, the whole screen gets scrambled and locks up.

Hi there !

As i have seen in a previous post, Axel OpenTracker will be the default tracker in Haiku, so to localise a good part of the system, we could already translate openTracker files.

But about system apps (like Screensaver, network, screen, ...), is there any "translation kit" already planned for R1 ?
