I was looking around at some different Bluetooth implementations when I stumbled across NetGraph (graph based kernel networking subsystem).

Getting started with BeOS.

Forum thread started by scintill on Mon, 2005-03-28 23:58

Hi everyone,

I'm a bit of a noob with the BeOS. :) I found out about it when Be released the personal version. I've used it lightly since. The main thing keeping me from switching to the BeOS from Windows is how difficult I find everyday tasks (lack of apps) and the interface is hard to use.

Haiku != Games ?

Forum thread started by skoe on Sat, 2005-03-26 08:57

I'm just pondering what Haiku's intentions are towards games. As you may or may not know a large majority of main stream end users will not (And Can not) switch from Microsoft Windows to another operating system due to the fact that their games aren't supported.

New 3D strategy game blog (also runs on Zeta/Haiku)

Forum thread started by Zenja on Tue, 2005-03-22 10:38

OK, so I'm beating my own drum, but what the heck :lol:

New Civilization like 3D game being constructed, as well as a developer blog. Interesting comments about developing under BeOS/Zeta/Haiku, and observation of rendering bugs :-)

Installing BeOSMax

Forum thread started by CPUGuy on Mon, 2005-03-21 23:51

I can't seem to get the installer to run on my system, it starts to boot up, and then it just resets, I've tried disabling various items and such, nota.

I do have an install on an old harddrive which boots up just fine on my system, just that the installer does not want to actually run, kinda wierd.

question about kernel

Forum thread started by Skfyr on Mon, 2005-03-21 09:55

As I know, Haiku kernel is based on NewOS kernel. At this moment is the Haiku kernel faster then r5 kernel, or slower?

Can somebody maybe post more screenshots from the Haiku?
