Emotion of Haiku

Forum thread started by CoolWaterOS on Tue, 2004-07-13 00:04

Hello! I'm Vincent, and I want to post here with you fine people because I think that this is a time for us all to rejoice at the wonderful possibillities laid out before us here now!

The motivation for this post now is the veritable excitement; indeed, even elation over the prospects of a new OS along the thin line BeOS scryed out for us in its hayday. It was just wonderful to boot up BeOS and be on, and quickly! And now, being an artist, Im in a fervor to experience the quick interface and intuitive display of Haiku, and as yet I love the Logo! It puts me at peace. Just as BeOS had before it, unlike the aggravation of a Windows system, despite all efforts by MS to cool down the flames of the experience with XP, and oh, I can already see Longhorn coming...

Something for the future

I don't know if it's valid to discuss about it, but all my problems summarize in just one thing:

This is a user or system-wide setting?

I haven't followed the steps of the Preference App Team, but I think this should very consistent and clear on how it would be controlled and presented to the end user and developers...
