All the info found appointing to wiki that is dead

How get a burn cd with this image. I use k3b as my CD burner application but it does not detect it. Can you provide me the console commands that I have to use?

Why don't you provide a simply kaiku.iso?

Thank you very much,
Xan.

PS: What type of partition is necessary to install kaiku. In web page there is no information about it I think

I have a problem with FreeRA (I know it’s not Haiku but I’m desperate )

In FreeRA the game sometimes work and sometimes it crashes after the intro movie is played. You can run the game ~3 times in a row without crashes and after that you will have ~3 times in a row with crashes.

If some one could test to run FreeRA on BeOS would be nice 

For those that don’t know about FreeRA.. it’s Red Alert 1

forgot the link :)

There are a BeIDE project in the Project folder.

Code structur of an gui Application.

Hi, I wounder whats is the best way to structur the code of an gui Application. First I think it is good to seperate the gui part and the "mainapp" part (the part that doing the real work). The mainapp and the gui both have an interface to the outer world. For example the gui gives a data structur with all information collected from different views.

Translation

I have two questions regarding translation of Haiku to other languages.

Reading previous posts in this forum, it seems that a translation of the tracker was started by Axel. I looked in the repository but can’t find anything concerning this job. Anybody knows where it is, and what's the status?

Getting Started

Does anyone have or know of a way to help someone who wants to start helping on the DEV side. I am new to all of this. I have been on the iSeries for years (16) (iSeries or AS/400 doing COBOL/RPG/CL) and have been a long time user of BeOS and have starred at Haiku for years hoping to help out and I think it's time for me to just dive in and help out where I can.

Mathmatical Input method

Forum thread started by inseculous on Sat, 2006-10-14 02:20

I was thinking that an input method for mathmatical symbols and formulas might be a useful addition to haiku. I don't know much about the input kit but I think it could be like the Japanese input method with the deadkeys and auto combining.
