Hey guys
im still hard at work building my Haiku kiosk, i was wondering what i need to change in the source to change the Haiku boot splash to a custom image.
Iv tried changing the images in the src artwork folder but no affect when i compile Haiku, any ideas?

Hey guys im trying to get Qt creator up and running in haiku but i needed Qt 4.7, i cant seem to compile it without it erroring out, any one know if there are any Qt 4.7 prebuilt binaries for alpha two available at the moment? if any one has a copy of them pre build i would be forever grateful if you sent them my way.

BString and UTF8

The BString class seems to be strange to me. Though it is handling only char type of data, it promises to handle UTF8 strings. But whenever a char parameter is used, I wonder how to apply this to e.g. a two byte sized UTF8 char symbol. Or is there also a char16 based BString alternative?

Please tell me, what is the recommended successor for BeIDE, or otherwise, what is the recommended development environment to make myself familiar with? It could be an interesting task for me to write a generic Haiku chessprogram if I only could feel there at home as a developer.

I know GL is not complete in haiku, but i want compile it on haiku and learn from now how and what i need on this anyway, I can be a mantainer if is need it i am not a developer but am a high user from linux... then i believe can be useful in this process, anyway i wanna test gallium 3d too, only for help ;).

WebPositive and V8

Firstly can someone point me in the direction of obtaining the WebPositive source please?

Second, does anyone think it is possible to embed V8 (Google's Javascript Engine) within WebPositive so that C++ functions can be called from Javascript? If not how should I go about incorprating that into WebPositive.
