Ok don't everybody run .... but a newbe here ..... :shock:
I was trying to do a makehdimage .... but the build failed ..... this is the error that I get .....

Blinking Screen at boot

I'm trying to install BeOS MAX here, and I'm not getting any lucky.

I burned the CD as told in the Readme file (over Windows).
It boots, I see the first boot screen showing "BeOS 5" and the icons saying the stuff is loading, and when it goes to the other screen, it shuts.. I can still see the CD loading for a while, but the screen is off, and the monitor light next to the power button starts to blink.

mouse not allways working

i installed BeOS5 MaxEdition V31b1the other day but the mouse didn't work at all even after trying ps/2 (compaq generic), usb with ps/2 covter and plain usb( mx1000 8)), nothing worked, I try useing the CD as a live CD and my mouse bloody well worked(apart from with the usb to ps/2 covter). I had the same problem useing haiku in boch (on windows :roll:).

Any drivers for RALINK RT2400?

I've got RALINK RT2400 wireless lan card and I can't use it in BeOS. Are there any drivers? Maybe someone know how to run it under BeOS? Will it run with other drivers? Thanks for help.

Dear all,

I have a quick question regarding installing of Haiku. Basically, I fail to get R5 PE or Max running on my machine, and thus have no way to build Haiku on my own.

Is it possible to somehow write Haiku disk images to the drive in linux, and load it up using grub or similar? (is it multiboot compatible actually?)

AppServer don't want to work with NVidia GeForce FX 5700

Revision 13345 (and all latest)
Works only in safe mode (fake appserver launchs) when NVidia GeForce FX 5700 installed. But when i changed it to NVidia Geforce 2 MX 400 - worked fine.

Ok I know this is not the place to ask but I'm going crazy trying to find it. Could someone please help me find bone (off list preferably)? I can't use BeShare because I don't have networking going on a machine (because I need bone). If anyone could help that'd be great
