Is it possible to listen to internet radio like www.iriefm.net ?

Hi,

I installed the Alpha2 release and everything was fine. I like to listen internet radio. I do not discover any plugin like the Realplayer. Is there any chance to listen iriefm.net with Haiku system?

Open Sound Question

Open Sound is my last hope for sound in Haiku Alpha 2 (at least right now). By using ls dev/audio/hmulti, hda was the only thing coming up for me.

Here is my audio controller info: device Multimedia controller (Audio device) [4|3|0]
vendor 8086: Intel Corporation
device 27d8: N10/ICH 7 Family High Definition Audio Controller

I disabled hda in both places where I read I should and then installed opensound from the terminal. I'm not getting anything but, whoa, that application isn't just for turning your sound up and down, lol! I don't know if not getting anything from Gain in Audio Mixer is telling me that it's a no-go for me or if there's something I'm supposed to do with all those controls in Intel Audio HD?

Media Preerence does show my sound as Intel now, so it did do that.

How to get a 24 hour clock display ?

The deskbar happily is showing the current time. But this is done in a US time format.
Having adjusted the locale to German settings and 24 hour display still nothing changed.
Where such a localizing of the time display could be done?

How to handle the kernel debugger?

Suddenly that debugger started referring to a failed assertion in DoublyLinkedList.h:512

How can I leave that mode? And why is the keyboard layout there reverted back to a US keyboard layout?

Hi.
I have some questions:

1) How do I enable sound? I have a Realtek AC'97. In Pref. -> Media -> Audio settings it says for everything.
2) Can I watch Youtube videos on Haiku?

Screen issues (static?)

Alright, so I'm trying to use Haiku on my laptop as it seems to be the only computer that will boot it and run it well, but I'm having some graphical issues with it. The screen seems kinda... don't know if you'd describe it as static, but that's what it looks like to me. It keeps flickering where it should be displaying a solid color, and... here's a picture.

The question is... would this be something easily fixable or do I just need to wait for better hardware support?

How to type the ~ symbol ?

I am testing Haiku under VMware Fusion in Mac OS X. Having switched to the German Mac keyboard the combination of ALT+N does no longer create the ~ symbol. Thus I write this message on Mac's Safari browser, where your forum is not displayed completely correct or as intended: the "post new Forum topic" link is not printed on a separate line. But back to my question: how to type a ~ symbol here (C++ binary not operator) ?

P.S.: There also seem to be problems typing: | [ ] symbols at usual places.

P.P.S.: ... similar problem with @ symbol.
