My question is about how mantain windows over all, because i ussually put vlc or other windows like justin tv, etc, to work and do other things while i see that window...this is very useful in other OS´s because it help with multitask, at least for me.

I'm wondering if the microchip icon in the boot splash might cause confusion?

There isn't a lot of difference between its dull and its bright state. If Haiku stalled while booting would a less tech-savy (or vision-impaired) user be able to describe where it stalled?

Figured it could be nice to keep a list of Qt/KDE apps that can help fill the gaps in Haiku's software line up for the time being.

Scribus, desktop publishing application.

Hydrogen, drum machine.

Rosegarden, sequencer/score editor.

Qtractor, digital audio workstation.

FreeCAD, CAD tool.

LyX, LaTEX editor.

...are all ones that stand out off the top of my head. Any others?
